What information do we collect, and how do we use it?

SoloMaps collects information about our users in various ways, including by your voluntary submissions (e.g., settings, preferences, user profile, etc.), participation in and access to the Services, as well as through cookie and other tracking technology. The information SoloMaps collects may be used in a variety of ways, including for internal review, to maintain your SoloMaps account, to improve the Services, to notify you about updates to the Services, to identify you as the creator of the content that you upload, to conduct surveys and reviews, to potentially to provide users with data regarding people accessing your Content, to take action against activities that are, or may be, in breach of our Terms of Use, guidelines and principles, or applicable law, or promotions that you may be interested in, to show you relevant ads on behalf of advertisers, to send you relevant communications, and to fulfill and provide Services requested by you. Non-Personal Data

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Non-Personal Data” means information that does not directly identify you, including “aggregate” and “de-personalized” information, which is data SoloMaps collects about the use of SoloMaps, from which any personally identifiable data has been removed.

In many cases, we need this information to provide to you many of the Services that you may have requested. As part of our Services provided to you, we may send you email with news and other information. You may, at any time, opt-out of receiving these type of email from us; however, you agree that we may continue to use your email address from time to time to contact you about your account.

The Personal Information you provide and is collected by SoloMaps is stored within databases that we control directly or through our service providers. As we deem appropriate, we use security measures consistent with industry standards, such as firewalls, to protect your Personal Information. However, since no security system is impenetrable, we cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.

Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, or country where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those where you live. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please be aware that we transfer Personal Information to the United States and process and store it there. By submitting your Personal Information, you consent to having your personal data transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States.

We do not seek or knowingly collect any Personal Information about children under 16 years of age. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected Personal Information from a child under the age of 16, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database.

Governing Law; Visitors Residing Outside the United States

This Privacy Policy and the privacy practices of SoloMaps will be subject exclusively to the laws of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. SoloMaps makes no representation that this Privacy Policy and such practices comply with the laws of any country outside the United States.
